Why does the human race need salvation?
Because "your iniquities have separated you from your God" (Isaiah 59:2).
Because "it is appointed unto men once to die, and after death, the judgement" (Hebrews 9:27).
Read also Romans 3:10-23; Acts 17:31.
Who, among men, needs this salvation?
Everyone, "for all have sinned" (Romans 3:23).
God is telling "all men, in every place, to repent" (Acts 17:30).
That includes me (and you!).
"There is no righteous man on earth, that doeth good and sinneth not" (Ecclesiastes 7:20).
When should you seek this salvation?
"Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (II Corinthians 6:2).
"Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts" (Hebrews 3:7-8)
How can you be saved?
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31).
"By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:7-8)
You can receive Christ by faith and prayer. The Gospel is very simple. Confess your sins to God and turn from them. Believe with all your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead. Ask Jesus to come into your life and make you what He wants you to be.
God knows your heart--Pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying for me on the cross. I now recieve you as my Savior. Thank you for forgiving my sin and giving me eternal life. Amen
If you prayed this prayer and meant it with all your heart, Jesus has entered your heart just as He promised.
