This page contains some graphic details of abortion.
I made this page in memory of the five grandbabies that we have lost due to miscarriage. They were very much wanted and loved. We will never hold them on earth but we will hold them in Heaven one day. This page is dedicated to a subject that is very close to my heart, the protection of the unborn.
I hope that reading this page and looking at the pictures might stop even one woman from making the awful choice to abort her baby. It is my hope that she may come to know that this is truly a little person from the minute of conception. I never thought that in the United States of America the most dangerous place for a baby might become its mother's womb. We must stop killing our babies. Thirty-nine million babies have been killed in the United States since Roe-Vs.-Wade and the number rises every minute. Abortion stops a beating heart.
Psalms 139:13-16 (NIV): "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; yours works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
Did you know that at only six weeks from conception, (8 weeks from the last menstrual period) the baby's heart is formed and beating 150 times a minute, eyes are forming, and arms and legs are taking shape? It also has a brain, the spinal cord is closed and it has a different blood supply from its mother.
This is the baby at six weeks past conception.
At eleven weeks past conception (thirteen weeks from the last menstrual period) the baby has all its fingers clearly visible, you can see its facial features and it can put its hand in its mouth.

Did you know that at thirteen weeks past conception (15 weeks from the last menstrual period) the baby's eyes are well developed, it jerks its body around and flexes its arms and legs?

At seventeen weeks past conception (19 weeks from the last menstrual period) the baby's nails have grown on it's finger tips; arms, legs, feet and toes are developed to proportion; hands can grasp; feet can makes kicks and hair is appearing.

I want you to see the most amazing picture that you will ever see.
This is Samuel.
Samuel was, at the time of this picture, a 21 week unborn baby who needed corrective surgery to treat spina bifida. The doctor made a small incision in the uterus to operate on Samuel. During the surgery, Samuel reached out his tiny, perfectly formed hand and grasped the doctor's finger firmly as if to say thanks for giving him the gift of life. This picture should be shown everywhere but probably won't because it shows that this is a living baby, not a blob of tissue like some would like you to believe.

Now that you know that your baby is a living human being, I want to tell you about the brutal, painful procedure that doctors perform called partial birth abortion. The baby is about three inches from the difference in murder and abortion. That's why they do it this way. I'm sure this isn't what anyone wants to hear but it's true and everyone should be aware of it, so I'm going to show you just what they do to a baby in a partial birth abortion. It's legal because President Clinton vetoed a bill that would have stopped it - a bill that had been passed by a majority of both the House and Senate.
In 1993, a Registered Nurse testified in Washington to try to put a stop to partial birth abortions. I want you to read what she said. These are her words:
"I was assigned by a nursing agency to a abortion clinic and being pro-life, I didn't think it mattered. I was wrong. I was in the clinic for three days. The first day we did some real early stage abortions, which I expected. The second day I watched as the doctor did a D&E, in which he reached inside the uterus with forceps and tore the baby into pieces and threw the pieces in a pan. This bothered me. The third day I stood at the doctors side and watched him do a partial birth abortion on a woman that was six months pregnant. The baby's heartbeat was clear on the ultrasound screen . The doctor turned the baby feet first and pulled it from it's mother until all but the head is delivered. The little body was moving, little arms and legs were kicking and his little fingers were clasping together. The baby was a little boy. The doctor then took a pair of scissiors and inserted them in the back of the little boys head and his arms jerked and stiffened. Then the doctor opened the scissors and the baby's little body went limp. Then he took a powerful vaccuum and sucked out his brains. Then he took out the head, cut the cord and threw baby, instuments and all into the pan."
Believe me, I know how hard this is to read about. I know how hard it was for me to write this page but sometimes we need to open our eyes and see what is happening around us. After the procedure was through the mother asked to see the baby. They cleaned it up ,wrapped it in a blanket and let her see him. She cried and said "I'm so sorry, please forgive me". The nurse never went back to that clinic. She knew that they had killed these children and she has always been haunted by that perfect, angelic face of that beautiful little baby boy.
Please, when you go to vote in this next election, if the candidate thinks that the murder of our babies is ok, don't give them your vote. Speak out for those who can't speak for themselves.
Please sign the guestbook on the main page. Thank you for coming.
